Lördagen 31 januari genomfördes den första delen av vårens grundläggande säkerhetsutbildning. Utbildningen tar totalt fem dagar att genomföra. Föreningen utbildar totalt 7 medlemmar i denna omgång, tillsammans med besättning från Westkust, Kvartsita och Britta är det totalt 17 som utbildas.
Detta är ett viktigt steg i vårt säkerhetsarbete och vår ambition att fortsätta segla med ideellt arbetande besättning. Under den första dagen övade vi med överlevnadsdräckter, livflotte och pyrotekniska nödsignaler. De praktiska övningarna var ett välkommet avbrott i den omfattande teoretiska undervisningen.
